For education purposes, social media has been used in innovative ways. Students should be taught to use this tool better; in the educational classes, media is just being used for messaging or texting. Instead, they should learn to figure out how to use these media platforms for good. Social media has increased the quality and rate of collaboration for students. With the help of social media, students can easily communicate or share information quickly with each other through various social sites like Facebook, Orkut, and Instagram.

Social media is the new buzz area in marketing that includes businesses, organizations, and brands which helps to create news, make friends, make connections and make followers. Companies use social media to enhance an organization’s performance in various ways, such as accomplishing business objectives and increasing the organization’s annual sales. Social media benefits from a communication platform that facilitates two-way communication between a company and its stockholders. Business can be promoted through various social networking sites. Many organizations promote their business by giving advertisements on social media to attract maximum users or customers. Customers can connect and interact with the company on a more personal level by using social media. If an organization has established a brand, social media may help this organization to develop the existing brand and give the business a voice. With the help of social media, an organization can make their strategy to promote their organization.

As we all are aware of social media has an enormous impact on our society. Many of the social media sites are most popular on the web. Some social media sites have transformed the way where people communicate and socialize on the web. Social networking sites render the opportunity for people to reconnect with their old friends, colleagues, and mates. It also helps people make new friends and share content, pictures, audio, and videos. Social media also changes the lifestyle of a society.

Social media has occupied an important position as a communication tool. People across the globe use social media to connect to other people or organizations. Globally, people have started to use social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to share their experiences. For example, as customers, people share product reviews, information about a service, advice on food or health, warnings about products, tips on using certain products, and much more. People have a lot of ‘connections’ on social media; therefore, information is consumed by many people. This information becomes a source of influence on consumers and their buying behavior.

Social media is a convenient and vital communication network for all people nowadays. We can use it to make friends and keep in contact with friends that come from different countries. We can also share our ideas so quickly that all the things could develop so fast because people could tell us their ideas and improve them immediately. We could also learn new things on social media by watching or reading what people share on social media. There are more advantages to using social media; however, there are always advantages and disadvantages. As social media is too convenient for people, most of them don’t even have to ‘speak out’ to communicate with people. Social media changed our life so much. Our lives have become more convenient because social media is a handy tool for us in the 21st century; it could help us to improve our life. However, we have to be aware of how we use them. If we could use social media smartly, having social media would become a good change for us.
